Cakes is run and nurtured by Asha Pai Nandakumar. A human resource professional with 15+ years of experience in diverse corporate sectors and international freight forwarding and logistics, Asha’s myriads of escapades in different spectrums crossed its path unexpectedly to appreciate the expressions of crafts and arts with Thathwamasi Crafts Village, which paved the ground for Love You Cakes to take birth.
Her sweet spot for economics took Asha to complete her undergraduate course and a masters in economics from Presidency College in Chennai. Her professional journey in human resource set her to complete MBA in HR, as well. During her individual scholar research project on Rural Development Economics, she founded Thathwamasi Crafts Village, which laid the foundation for her to unearth her love for crafts and arts, which in turn watered her endeavors to come up with Love You Cakes.
Asha has a prolific professional career behind her in addition to being the Founder and Dean of Sunnyside B-School, Chennai, Head – Strategic Sourcing of Sunnyside Recruiters, Chennai, and the Managing Director of Baapni Global Logistics Private Ltd along with many prior corporate roles.
Her passion for creativity and edible artistry to add a little more fervor, excitement, and joy to people’s special moments fills her with tremendous joy like nothing else before. Now when she looks back, she is content with making the special moments of people even more special with the tinges, flavors, and artistic expressions of the cakes she bake. And that is what fuels her drive to make Love You Cakes a unique experience for all.
We were pleasantly surprised to see the cake when we opened it. Though we ordered a custom cake, we didn’t think it would be this good-looking. We ordered the cake just to see how it would turn out. Now, we want to order it for our wedding. We thank you and will recommend you to anyone that loves cakes.
